Department of Civil engineering, B.H.Gardi College often invites me as an expert for their students. I really appreciate this initiative of HOD to provide us an opportunity to interact with the students and if sharing students feedback they also enjoy and feeling satisfactory by mapping their theory class with the consulting work.
This year when I visited B. H. Gardi College of Engineering and Technology for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to see the educational complex having such a good and advance facilities. Huge conference rooms, library, classrooms, computer facilities. Even more facilities were being worked on. I had never seen such a university when I was young and not even in London where I lived for 22 years and also studied my B.Sc in Electrical and electronics Engineering. Immediately I had a question in my mind. All these facilities is good but is it being used effectively, are faculties teachers and professors professional and experienced ? Are students making good use of the facilities ? I had a long and interesting chat with Prof Vaibhav Gandhi, Associate Professor and Head, Department of MCA, and he assured me that their teaching staff was one of the best and it shows in the results achieved by students of the university.Education is a service to community and this seems to be the mantra at Gardi
